Anna Kathryn is feeling much better! Thanks for all of your prayers and well-wishes. They definitely helped, because she was well on the way to recovery by Saturday afternoon. We decided that a quiet weekend at home was the best thing for her, so here are a few snapshots from the weekend.
Of course, the fact that Anna Kathryn was roaming around the house gnawing on a cold pancake after a very short nap was not one of my finer parenting moments...
I did feed her a real lunch after this. Note that jammies were the preferred outfit for much of the weekend!

Nothing wrong with cold pancakes ~ Kylie prefers leftover pizza cold and actually gets upset when we heat it up!
Oh hunny! You are way too hard on yourself. She's happy, she's snacking, she's not got boogies flowing everywhere, and she's safe. Sounds like a good parenting moment to me. Especially on a quiet, lazy, stay-at-home Saturday. Be kind to yourself - you needed the casual-ness of it all too, I'll bet!!!
I'm late checking in, so I didn't realize you had the 'bug' at your house. I'm so glad to hear she's better now though. BTW, I think cold pancakes are just fine!
